BrandNew

Established in 2006 by Armin Vit and Bryony Gomez-Palacio, Brand New is an extensive resource updated daily with the latest and most note-worthy logo, identity, and branding projects.

They felt it was the opportune moment to update their logo to something more captivating, ‘unique, ownable, and, ideally, more exciting’ for their audience. They came to me with a sketch that they believed had potential and wondered if I had the balls to take it on… of course I did!

The final design…

The ligatures play a key role in defining the logo’s distinctiveness. They had to be executed perfectly in order achieve the optimum rhythm and legibility.

A small use version was also created…

The monogram was designed in-house utlising the BN letterforms from the logo.
