AEG was founded in Berlin and started life selling the electric light bulb. It’s one of the oldest brands in the world, dating back to the late nineteenth century and although it’s business has evolved it has been using the same version of its wordmark since 1912.
Due to new innovation in products and company strategy a new ‘modern aesthetic’ was required. I worked alongside Prophet to produce a wordmark to help elevate this pioneering brand to another level… No easy task!
