Tesco required a typeface that would convey a more ‘human and honest voice’ to both its customers and throughout the internal communications. Tesco Handmade was conceived and developed whilst working closely alongside The Clearing.
The font contains many contextual alternates to mimic a random arrangement and help enhance the ‘made-by-hand’ quality.
